Oak Hills Christian College is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of the Association for Biblical Higher Education, 5850 T.G. Lee Blvd., Ste. 130, Orlando, FL 32822, (407)207-0808. Constituents may contact this agency regarding concerns about Oak Hills.
Accreditation assures students of high quality education. Accredited status is also significant in the transfer of credits. However, the transfer of credit is always at the discretion of the receiving school.
Oak Hills Christian College is interdenominational; we are not affiliated with any one denomination. Students, faculty, and staff come from a variety of churches.
Oak Hills is a charter member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability.
Oak Hills Christian College intercollegiate athletics are participating members of the Northern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (NIAC), the Association of Christian College Athletics (ACCA), and the Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference (MCAC).
Oak Hills Christian College students may take advisor-approved elective courses at Bemidji State University and have those credits apply to their credit totals as it relates to financial aid awards. For example, a student taking 9 credits at OHCC and 6 credits at BSU would be considered a full-time student based on the total of 15 credits. Regular tuition rates at both OHCC and BSU still apply.
Oak Hills Christian College and Crown College (St. Bonifacius, MN) have entered into a cooperative agreement which outlines benefits to students who transfer to Crown College for programs not available at OHCC. These benefits include arrangements for the transfer of credits and the possibility of a Cooperative Grant. Please contact the Admissions Office for more information.
