OHCC Announces NIAC Conference Additions
Oak Hills Christian College Athletics celebrates the addition of Leech Lake Tribal College and Red Lake Nation College as members of the Northern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.  "This new relationship simply provides an extension of the longstanding partnership we've been honored to have with the Native community in our region," said Dan Hovestol, Oak Hills' Athletic Director and NIAC President. "We look forward to their Men's and Women's Basketball teams joining conference play this upcoming, 2013-2014 season!"

Spiritual Enrichment Days Focus Students on God’s Love
Luke Trouten (2006 Oak Hills graduate in Youth Ministry) spent two days as the guest speaker for Oak Hills students and staff, sharing personal stories of ministry and following God’s call. Global Leadership Summit
OHCC will be hosting The Global Leadership Summit on August 8-9, 2013! The GLS exists to transform Christian leaders around the world with an injection of vision, skill development, and inspiration. Food Shelf Stuff-a-Truck
Eight Oak Hills students and two staff members volunteered at the Bemidji Food Shelf on Nov. 20, 2012 to empty a semi-truck filled with food by local school children for needy families.   This amount of donated food will supply the Bemidji Food Shelf for about a month. The truck was emptied in a record 25 minutes. [pic]

Soul and Campus Clean-Up Day
Recently all classes and meetings were canceled as we took an "on campus retreat". In the morning we worshiped together and were challenged spiritually by our guest speaker, Marlin Bjornrud (OHCC alum). In the afternoon we raked (and jump into) huge piles of leaves. [Rake 1] [Rake 2]

Raking for Senior Citizens
Fifteen students and four staff members (including President and Mrs. Hostetter) raked leaves for senior citizens as part of the annual Bemidji Senior Community Cleanup Day on October 27th. [pic 1] [pic 2] [pic 3]

Christian Laettner Basketball Clinic
The Athletic Department at Oak Hills Christian College, in partnership with local business sponsors and the Christian Laettner Basketball Academy, held a basketball clinic conducted by former NBA player, Christian Laettner. The event which was held at the Bemidji Middle School drew 115 boys and girls from the area.
